More Mauer

While extremely bored last night I started looking at the feature articles on Yahoo, where I came across this . Now I'm not usually a fan of Yahoo blogs but it was Joe Mauer and so totally worth the time. Although I'm finding that the more I learn about Mr. Mauer the more there is to dislike. Hip Hop? Chevys? Ummm... no. So from now on I'm going to skip the interviews and just focus on his excellent play and smokin' good looks. And this commercial which I find totally hilarious:

Baseball season is upon us once again, I know that technically it started a couple of weeks ago but, I freaking hate baseball. I know I mention it every time I talk about baseball but I really think that it can't be said enough.

Anyway you'll also know by now if you've been following my blog for any amount of time that my baseball boyfriend is Joe Mauer of the Minnesota Twins. It's been a while since I've bothered to mention his hotness so I thought since I had nothing else to talk about that perhaps it was time to bring him up again. Just in case you're trying to find some reason to watch baseball this year. So here he is just doing his job and also in eye-black. YUM!

Watching Baseball

I can't believe I watched baseball last night. I hate baseball. To be completely honest I was also watching the Colts game so it was kind of a flip back and forth kind of deal. So what was I doing watching baseball then?

Well see it started because I was out at the farm for the weekend and my dad was watching the game. So I sat down to watch with him until the football game started. That's when I realized it was the Twins vs. the Yankees. Now because I don't like baseball and therefore don't follow it the only player I knew besides Jeter and A-Rod was Joe Mauer of the Twins.

So Lisa if you're still following this one's for you. I've been trying to get you a Joe Mauer bobblehead for the last year but the 2009 versions are terrible so here's a picture instead.

Just to Cleanse the Palate

Alright as we can see from my previous posts I tend to be kind of single minded. But in honor of a certain co-worker's new shirt here is some Joe Maurer of the Minnesota Twins. Have I mentioned I hate baseball? But I like baseball players. Oh and he's 6'5 so he's both age and height appropriate.

Is there anything hotter than an athlete doing stuff with little kids. Yes, I realize that sounds really bad but you know what I meant.
